I was in a vortex, everyone was moving around me. Eyes fixed on the stage, and I couldnt think of anything but what was in front of me. That was Sleepy Sun, a 6 piece band from San Francisco. They have this slow psychedelic sound that takes you on a journey every time. This band truly thinks of every dynamic. The back up female vocals add so much lust to their music, and they use alot of random instruments from the recorder to maracas.

Sleepy Sun! A truly great band. Caught them last year in Portland and was blown away. Saw them again last night (7/7) and they put on another stunning performance. So much power and honesty in their music and delivery.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I heard the first 30 seconds of "Desert God" and it was obvious how good they are, and also i really like how they change up a part of the song that literally throws you into left field which is a total mind fuck hahaha (but in a very good way)
